Passenger badly injured after private-hire car crashes into Audi and flips several times

A private-hire vehicle crashed into an Audi and flipped over several times on 6 April. The accident sent four of its passengers to the hospital.

The private-hire vehicle, which was a Toyota MPV, was carrying two elderly passengers and two maids. The elderly passengers were reportedly in their 70s.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Toyota was making a right turn from Ulu Pandan Road at around 9pm when it crashed into the Audi.

The driver of the private-hire vehicle, who was reportedly in his 30s, was apparently bringing the elderly couple and the maids home.

All the passengers were sent to the hospital with one of the maid’s suffering serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
