Huawei recently just announced that they will be having a special promotion for National Day where their Y6 Pro 2019 phones were to go for $54 for anyone aged 50 years old and above. The deal was to happen on 26 July 2019, Friday.
As with all insane promotions, you can expect there to be long snaking queues and many kiasu Singaporeans who will go to great lengths to reap the benefits of a good deal.

It was so bad that the SCDF had to come down to do some crowd control.

However, due to the massive demand for the Y6 Pro 2019 phones, the stores all quickly ran out of stock, much to the dismay of the people who had been queueing.

Some of them did not react well to the news and became angry and aggressive.
In response to the anger, Huawei issued a statement apologising for the mishap.

However, this did not sit well with the crowd and many people proceeded to post angry comments on Facebook regarding the situation.

People were especially angry since the queue was made up of mostly elderly people who were too frail to even queue for such long periods of time.
