It seems like the Huawei drama is not over just yet.
As the queues for the phones were made up mostly of elderly people above 50, it was a sooner or later thing for someone to get hurt.
At the Huawei’s Jurong Point outlet, an elderly lady had collapsed while queueing for the phone.
Upon seeing her faint, another woman had rushed up to her assistance and let her lie in her lap while she vigorously fanned her.
A video was uploaded onto Twitter and Facebook showing the woman on the ground while being surrounded by a swarm of rowdy, angry people.
The crowd outside Huawei has become so aggressive that the police have been employed to handle the situation.
At a different mall in Singapore, a woman was arrested for violent behaviour at another Huawei outlet. In a video, she was seen behaving aggressively while a group of police were trying to hold her down.
To try to make a bad situation become better, Huawei has released a new promotion where their Mate 20 phone will be going for $568 (U.P. 998). We are not sure whether the crowd will be happy with this new offer but we do hope that the mess clears up soon before anyone else gets hurt.
