Lorry crashed into drain along Lower Delta Road

Driver taken to Singapore General Hospital

 

A 29-year-old man was sent to hospital after his lorry plunged into a drain along Lower Delta Road on 7 February 2018.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted about the accident at around 5:00 pm this Wednesday. The police added that the lorry driver was conscious when he was taken to the Singapore General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.

An eye witness, Ms Kerry Ng, told Channel NewsAsia that the crash happened near an overhead bridge.


A photo taken by Ms Ng showed that the drain railings were damaged in the crash.

Eye witnesses who saw the accident are strongly encouraged to come forward and provide more details to the relevant authorities.
